The 1994-1998 Mustang has some fantastic options for wings/spoilers if you are looking to change up the style of your 94-98 sn95 mustang. While Ford only had one style for the GT/V6 Mustang other aftermarket designs exist from performance companies like Roush, Saleen, and other aftermarket brands. Here we will talk about everything you need to know about 94-98 Mustang spoilers and wings.
Stock GT/V6 wing
Ford gave the 94-98 Mustang a sleek low-profile wing from the factory. This was standard on Mustang GT/V6 cars as well as 96-98 Cobras. The only exception was the 94-98 cobra which we will get too next. The stock wing can be found made from either fiberglass or ABS plastic materials which give it a durable structure. Many are happy with the stock but if you are looking for something different or more aggressive stay tuned.
1994-1995 Cobra Wing
1994-1995 Cobras are a little unique as Ford gave them what is known as the “Crab claw” wing. This is shaped a little differently then the normal 94-98 mustang GT/V6 wing while also featuring a third brake light built into the wing itself.
Saleen S281 spoiler
The Saleen S281 spoiler is by far the most popular SN95 spoiler mod for 1994-1998 mustangs. This spoiler designed by Saleen came on the s281 package and can also be purchased separately for your mustang. This spoiler is also made by many aftermarket companies and can be found in materials such as fiberglass, ABS plastic, and even carbon fiber. This spoiler is easily the most recognizable by most SN95 mustang owners.
Saleen S351 wing/T1 spoiler/SR Double wing
Some more rare options from Saleen included the S351 wing (pictured on the left) and the T1 spoiler (pictured on the right). The S351 is a larger wing that is definitely unique, while the T1 spoiler is similar to the S281 but with a much more aggressive ducktail design. Lastly Saleen also has a double wing.
Boss Shinoda spoiler
Team Boss Shinoda featured a large flat style spoiler. This spoiler came in two different lengths being a 10” or 15” inch spoiler. The 15” spoiler having a unique cup holder built right into the spoiler.
SN350 spoiler
Next is our own 94-98 mustang spoiler which we have available in carbon fiber or fiberglass. Our 1994-1998 SN350 Mustang ducktail spoiler is a more modern and aggressive design for the SN95 mustang. While becoming more popular this is the latest spoiler design to come out and complements the 94-98 Mustang well.
Sheet metal spoilers
Several aftermarket companies make sheet metal spoilers of similar design. This “Nascar” style spoiler can be appreciated such as this the one featured above by racing company Griggs. This style of spoiler can even be found in fiberglass as well. This spoiler is not a bolt on friendly mod and will require drilling/filling of new and old holes. Something to keep in mind when looking for a new spoiler for your car.

1994-1998 Mustangs have some great spoilers and wings to choose from. I am going to be honest it might be hard to decide which when you want. Saleen has the most options available, but they are older designs. There are some other really great designs from the likes of Boss Shinoda, Roush, lsb customs, and other companies. Some things you may want to keep in mind when you are deciding on which spoiler or wing to buy, is whether you will have to make modifications to your car or not. Most people will probably prefer something that is bolt on. Spoilers and wings can also be found in a few different materials/finishes including ABS plastic, fiberglass, and carbon fiber. But nonetheless there are some awesome options that will change the look of your car.
